Don't be fooled by the narrative and slow paced of the first part of this game. Like what happened to me. I mean I thought the game was supposed to be the Wild West and I question why is there snow? Where are the saloons? One of the first mission you will get? Hunt for the camp's food.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is an immersive game. When I said immersive, I meant I cannot count the times I took my character for a bath because the dirt and sweat you get along the way traversing the entire map fills up his face where characters you interacted with will imply you look dirty. The guns wearing out due to over-use and your stamina will be affected if either your character is either thin or fat. Yes, you need to eat. Even your horses need maintenance. For those things, they are actually good thing, and you rarely get that in most games these days.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is an open-world game that is a prequel-sequel to Red Dead Redemption that was released on the PS3 way back 2010 by Rockstar Games. Yes, the same Rockstar Games that created Grand Theft Auto. You'll notice some similarities in game elements.
The year is 1899 and the game recounts the story of the Van Der Linde Gang, a prominent outlaw gang of misfits that was vastly mentioned in the first game, and the reason for their fallout and disbandment. It casts Arthur Morgan, the protagonist of the game and the one you control as the player. Dutch Van Der Linde, the eponymous leader. Hosea Matthews, their close confidant and friend. The three of them and their friendship makes the foundation of the entire gang. It's like Arthur was the kid, Dutch being your charismatic dad, and Hosea the sane is old uncle.
The game features the camp system, which is sort of like the shelter for the gang members. It starts as a simple camp with tents as lodgings for everyone, a fireplace for warmth, and cookout for food. Along the way you will be needing to contribute for the gang funds which is money needed for camp upgrades and of course for survival of the gang.
One of the best and regular features of the game is its Honor System which is pretty straightforward. It will be the player's choice if he wants to be good or bad. Arthur, being an outlaw is of course a bad guy. He kills and killed a lot of people for money and for survival. But it will depend on the player what you will paint Arthur as. Along the way you will encounter decisions and quests that will move your Honor portraying you as a "good" or "evil" which will affect the game and character interactions.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a shooting game by heart. It lets you choose your preferred point of view either First Person or Third Person view of playing. There's even as cinematic view which is best for game recording for best moments.
Let's get to the graphics. It's great. The details are so great you ever heard of horse graphics where you see horses randomly defecates in the streets and the wilderness. Even the balls shrink when you venture north in the cold mountains. Best. Game. Ever.
Overall, I will place Red Dead Redemption 2 as one of the best games I ever played out there. 10/10
